【展覧会情報】
この度DDD ART苑では、韓国と⽇本を拠点に活動するアーティスト、キム・ジウォンによる個展「Without
Boundaries: The Body Becoming Surface」を開催いたします。

キムは学⽣の頃から⼀貫して、⾝体の美醜に対する社会的圧⼒と、コンプレックスに⻑年苦しめられてきた経験と向き合い、それらを芸術へと昇華させてきた。薄く有機的な韓紙やキャンバスを⽀持体に、⼿で直接擦ることのできる乾式画材を多⽤し、⼥性の⾝体を描いては消すという反復的な⾏為は、作家⾃⾝にとっての修練、カタルシスでもある。

本展においてキムは、⾝体を対象とする姿勢は維持しながら、コンプレックスや強迫観念が形成される⼼理的構造の視覚化を試みている。表⽪に内なるものが滲み出るとき、輪郭は解きほぐされ、内外を織り交ぜたイメージが表出する。展⽰タイトルの「Without Boundary」＝「境界がない」、「The Body Becoming Surface」＝「⾝体が表⾯になってゆく」は、この過程を⾊濃く反映している。

本展では、⽬⽟の作品として4mを超える⼤作も公開予定です。

【Exhibition Information】
DDDART is delighted to present the solo exhibition of Kim Jiwon,“Without Boundaries: The Body BecomingSurface”.

Kim has consistently confronted the societal pressures regarding physical beauty and ugliness, and the
resulting complexes, transforming them into art.

In this exhibition, Kim attempts a new approach, using colors she hasn’t previously employed and blurring
boundaries, aiming to make the body feel more sensual and abstract as a landscape. This approach is
strongly reflected in the exhibition title,”Without Boundary,” and the subtitle,”The Body Becoming Surface.”

Dates: 19th June (Fri.), 2026 – 30th June (Tue.)
Opening hours: Weekday 2pm – 9pm / Saturday, Sunday, National holiday 12pm – 7pm
